Saturday 1 april 06
I woke up today with my hair looking like a bird's nest! (not the drink) It was awful! Must have had a bad sleeping posture. My elbow's swelling has gone down though! Yay! Fiona's birthday in a few weeks. Gotta think of what to give!
Asked da yi yi if she had extra tickets to the finals of CSS. She said Fiona only managed to get her hands on 2. They actually wanted about 6 or more! To bring their friends and family... They had such excellant connections too! :( How did they get the tickets? Da yi zhang knows Zhi Yang's father, probably business partners or something, never bothered to find out. haha. Even had Zhiyang over for dinner! They invited moi ! Hope Fiona enjoys the night and has a good time! I uploaded my IT assignment, hope I don't fail it or anything! Peewee wants an english name, I'm now making a list. Have tomorrow off... shall make her a fancy list then!

Friday 31 March 06
Today was ok. Music was good, mostly because we were able to come up with a rhythm(Go Mengjie!) and managed to do it well, even though we didn't go up to perform! Homework: Letter to Bing Xin, Chemistry worksheet and Maths Journal. Ms Chi told off the class for not using our new register numbers. But we didn't even know our registers until yesterday! I'm aching like I've been constantly on the move and haven't had sleep for a week! We lost to Jurong today. Never mind, we'll try next year! ;) I had to miss french because I had to see a chinese doc about my elbow, which had swelled to the size of a small tomato. Later, as the stairs were slippery, I slipped off and crashed heavily on my butt, books, bag and all! It is very sore now as I'm sitting on a hard chair! And that's pretty much what happened today. Nothing much really happens on Fridays... On Monday, I'm going to get the scoop on what happened at the old folk's home today!Off to do my IT assignment now! Anyone know how to work excel?Just ate chinese medicine to strengthen the muscles. It really tastes awful! I crammed myself with two rows of Hersheys: Dark Chocolate. My fave right now! Mum wants to straighten her hair now! RIGHT AFTER she permed it! I'll NEVER understand adult's ways of thinking! I'm still obsessing over Da Changjin! I've watched the show 6 times already and this is my 7th! I'm seriously crazed. I'm thinking of asking da yi yi to lend me her copy! whee! :D If I miss Fiona on TV on Sunday because she's at Mediacorp at Campus Superstar finals, I know da yi yi will ring and say," Did you see Fiona on TV?" She will, because she has done so for the past FOUR weeks! And I'll be," Oh no! I'm busy doing my work (school homework). Omigosh, when is the repeat?" Because I've done so for the last FOUR weeks. And she'll be, "*the day*" And I'll say," Ok." And.... I'll MISS IT! Goes to show my blurness! :) Ok Fiona, I'll wont miss ya this Sunday! And btw, the one at HCI will only be the SCREENING. Wont be ACTUALISTIC. A lot of people were bummed when they heard about this, and they're like," Ok, I shall not go." Because they want to meet their idols, and not watch them on a big screen like you can do at home! So why go? My rose has withered...so sad! :( It was given to me on Saturday, when I went to celebrate my uncle's 60th birthday. That night, I watched Initial D (which will SURELY have a repeat, as there are too many gaps) with some family members (eg Melissa, Fiona, wan yee, wan leng, wan hsin, da yi zhang etc.) I also stuffed myself with FOOD! Melissa kept flipping over plates by mistake and laughing with her hand on her throat, which made fiona, darryl and davin laugh too! I should have taken pictures, it was so funny, it should have been a movie! The cake had 2 layers or MORE. There were kiwis, strawberries, peachesetc all around the sides! Yippee! I ate 2 big slices and when I got home, I fell asleep like a dead log. ( a rose was given to all the young ladies!) Jiu jiu squeezed my shoulders until I almost choked! It was really painful! DO NOT TRY THIS! There were some Americans there too. Must be acquaintances of my uncle. Ok, this post has been super long and I doubt anybody will read the complete thing!

20.3.06
Yay! Last night, Bryan was voted as the first Star Idol! Ok, I'm only voting for him because he has the same name as my bro. I really enjoyed America's Funniest Home Videos! Especially the one when the peron swings the golf club, and it hits the videotaper, the part where the man falls out of the first floor window reaching to put ornaments on a tree, or when a girl burnt her hair during her birthday! But my favourite was definitely 'Scaredy Dog'. It was Godzilla versus the house dog! Ok, for starters today, I could not get out of bed. I was that tired and lethargic! Not as in 'Nanny McPhee' where the children are bewitched by their nanny not to be able to get out of bed, as in falling asleep everytime I tried to rise out of bed... And I did my history homework wrongly. I drew a table, not a timeline. This must be my dreaded forgotten homework... In PE, it was gym for us. There were 2 ankle casualties! And Mdm Yick told us in Lang Arts that last time, in the old school, some girls were sleeping in the dance studio when they woke up and saw a Japanese soldier! For volleyball, I almost sprained my ankle when Lydia and I knocked together and fell. After just recovering from my sprained back muscle, I DO NOT want a sprained ankle at the moment, especially when tomorrow we have a volleyball match... Ok, off to re-do my screwed history timeline!

Romeo + Juliet
Watched an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet. It was starring Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio. It was my mum's idea. It was set in the 1990s, but the characters still spoke in the medieval way : such as 'thou', 'thee', 'hast', 'wilt'... you know, that kind of thing. I tried to sit through it and not look too bored. It was hard to catch what the characters were saying, except for the few words above, and a few more. Anyway, it ended like in the book, really cliched and all. Juliet takes the potion that will make her sleep and make her look as if dead, so she can run away with Romeo and not have to marry someone else. The priest sends Romeo the message telling him that, so he can elope with her in the night. Everyone thinks Juliet is dead, and places her in the chapel, instead of in her tower. Romeo hears the news and buys a bottle of poison. He comes to the chapel, takes the poison at the moment Juliet wakes and dies before her very eyes. So, she takes his gun and shoot herself, hence dying as well. Quite a good effort though. Recommended for all Shakespeare's fans who desire for his works to be put into modern sequence.

Char's House
I'm at Charmaine's house now! Yippee! After breakfast, I went to my Grandma's house as my mum needed to give her something. I played with my little cousins, who were still sleepy-eyed, especially the youngest. My parents drove Bryan to Brandon's house where I had to take him upstairs, his 'safeguard', or so my parents call me that! I arrived at Char's house where I recalled my first time there: my mum missed the turning! Zoe arrived 30 minutes later, which involved loads of phone calls from her, asking about the door and the doorbell, not forgetting the intercom and the sliding doors....er.... CHANGED MY BLOGSKIN! The song is 'At The Beginning. It's on the 1997 Anastasia Soundtrack. Ok, I admit, I'm a little crazy over Anastasia since I did her story for my storytelling! :) We're going swimming and Hui Zhen is coming at 2.30pm. At 1.30, my mum is going to fetch me to religious class....er...and I'm coming back at 3.30pm. I still have yet to do my LSC Journel! I just have to write about the last day of camp so I'm nearly done. YAY! Char's dad told us that in his day (around 1980s) people (lyceenes) only needed to take 7 subjects! And to go JC, needed a score of 17 and below! And for poly, if you failed chinese, but math, english and science held up, you were through! Everyone who listened was very jealous! Swimming: Char's mum forbid us to go to the deep end of the pool, so we swam at the shallows. Char's mum came and VIDEOTAPED us! We didn't realize until we turned around! Then, it was 1.30pm. That happy time whirled by in a flash. Char's mum insisted we take photographs before I went. We did all sorts of weird poses, and it was all captured for posterity! Then, I rushed upstairs like a tornado and had a quick bath (2min??) before class. It was my first FD meeting, and I was a bit apprehensive. There was one person I recognized: Gena. The rest were unfamiliar faces. We did a crossword and they explained about a karma: which was caused by internal and external causes. Karma is also another word for what people call 'fate'. Then there was this activity where two strings were entwined together and we had to undo it . I don't think anyone would be able to do that, and the solution was also quite complicated. The meeting ended with a story about a young woodcutter and an old woodcutter. Will talk about this story another day. I stuffed myself with refreshments (waffles) before leaving. There was a very heavy downpour when I left. It was as if the sky had opened up and was pouring it's entire contents (water at least) on us! As we reached Toa Payoh, it stopped. :) But I was soaked through! I had to pick up Bryan, who was already late for his wushu class. I got a goodie bag from his mum (leftover) though! My 'shou huo'! I arrived at Char's house and Hui Zhen was already there. The rest of them were watching 'sky high'. I ate a slice of pizza befor eHui Zhen gave me a present: A Leo keychain and a keychain with seashells and other marine life floating around. She asked me to give WT her present. Today has been really enjoyable, even though I still have that dreaded journal to complete. And I might still have more deadly undone homework lying around somewhere... And, my sandals are soaking wet because I wore them upstairs after my swim. Reminds me of the time Zoe's brother wore my sandals by mistake to go to the basketball court with friends. He came back with his feet soiled and washed them with a hose, including the sandals! It was ice cold when I had to wear them back again! Turns out the nationals for primary school starts Thursday. I will try to make it to their finals! I wonder: Will we have a repeat of 2003?
