Char's House

I'm at Charmaine's house now! Yippee! After breakfast, I went to my Grandma's house as my mum needed to give her something. I played with my little cousins, who were still sleepy-eyed, especially the youngest. My parents drove Bryan to Brandon's house where I had to take him upstairs, his 'safeguard', or so my parents call me that! I arrived at Char's house where I recalled my first time there: my mum missed the turning! Zoe arrived 30 minutes later, which involved loads of phone calls from her, asking about the door and the doorbell, not forgetting the intercom and the sliding doors....er.... CHANGED MY BLOGSKIN! The song is 'At The Beginning. It's on the 1997 Anastasia Soundtrack. Ok, I admit, I'm a little crazy over Anastasia since I did her story for my storytelling! :) We're going swimming and Hui Zhen is coming at 2.30pm. At 1.30, my mum is going to fetch me to religious class....er...and I'm coming back at 3.30pm. I still have yet to do my LSC Journel! I just have to write about the last day of camp so I'm nearly done. YAY! Char's dad told us that in his day (around 1980s) people (lyceenes) only needed to take 7 subjects! And to go JC, needed a score of 17 and below! And for poly, if you failed chinese, but math, english and science held up, you were through! Everyone who listened was very jealous! Swimming: Char's mum forbid us to go to the deep end of the pool, so we swam at the shallows. Char's mum came and VIDEOTAPED us! We didn't realize until we turned around! Then, it was 1.30pm. That happy time whirled by in a flash. Char's mum insisted we take photographs before I went. We did all sorts of weird poses, and it was all captured for posterity! Then, I rushed upstairs like a tornado and had a quick bath (2min??) before class. It was my first FD meeting, and I was a bit apprehensive. There was one person I recognized: Gena. The rest were unfamiliar faces. We did a crossword and they explained about a karma: which was caused by internal and external causes. Karma is also another word for what people call 'fate'. Then there was this activity where two strings were entwined together and we had to undo it . I don't think anyone would be able to do that, and the solution was also quite complicated. The meeting ended with a story about a young woodcutter and an old woodcutter. Will talk about this story another day. I stuffed myself with refreshments (waffles) before leaving. There was a very heavy downpour when I left. It was as if the sky had opened up and was pouring it's entire contents (water at least) on us! As we reached Toa Payoh, it stopped. :) But I was soaked through! I had to pick up Bryan, who was already late for his wushu class. I got a goodie bag from his mum (leftover) though! My 'shou huo'! I arrived at Char's house and Hui Zhen was already there. The rest of them were watching 'sky high'. I ate a slice of pizza befor eHui Zhen gave me a present: A Leo keychain and a keychain with seashells and other marine life floating around. She asked me to give WT her present. Today has been really enjoyable, even though I still have that dreaded journal to complete. And I might still have more deadly undone homework lying around somewhere... And, my sandals are soaking wet because I wore them upstairs after my swim. Reminds me of the time Zoe's brother wore my sandals by mistake to go to the basketball court with friends. He came back with his feet soiled and washed them with a hose, including the sandals! It was ice cold when I had to wear them back again! Turns out the nationals for primary school starts Thursday. I will try to make it to their finals! I wonder: Will we have a repeat of 2003?
