Sabbactical 2 Day 2
Chinese Opera today was AWESOME!!! We danced with the fans and sang about Liang San Bo and Ying Tai, It was the part when they were about to part and Ying Zi kept dropping hints that she was a girl, and liked Liang San Bo and wanted to be with him. I think it is considered Jing Ju as the words are pulled when sung! We had a hard time singing!! The dance was really fun, and Rebecca totally freaked out when she knew that we were going to be dancing with fans! She has been longing for this moment and went absolutely ballistic: screaming shrilly, smiling like a maniac, a the classical symptoms. Xiang Chuin must dance with fans all the time in Chinese Dance, so the excitement must have quite died down... I like the sound when the fan is being swooshed open! It 's so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least to my ears it is. :)In Math and Music, the video was the BEST! Pythagoras experimented with music, people then found fourths and fifths the most harmonius, and banned thirds and sixths as they did not sound nice. John Binstaple played around with thirds and fourths and J.S. Bach was the one who established equal temperament, with his compiled musical compositions 'The Well-Mannered Clavier'. He lived during the Baroque Period and when he died in 1750, the Baroque Period was brought to an end, as he was considered the greatest musician in that period. All these people were responsible for music as we know today! XC and Rebecca quite enjoyed themselves in Geo-World... Mrs Wong-Ng turned up! Though they recounted that she still looked a bit bloated... They were both estatic to having seen her! (VERY) :D
Poor XC is still mourning the fact that Zhee hasn't replied her! Rebecca is mourning that Guen hasnt replied her. And me? Well, I' AWFULLY SAD that Jiaqi STILL HAS NOT REPLIED FROM BEFORE THE JUNE HOLIDAYS TO NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Afterwards, I went for my NAPFA, having missed it due to being ill. I kept slipping on the track when I was doing the shuttle run! The floor really has NO friction!! :'( I slipped TWICE and felt really really embarrassed about it later on. There was no PT today due to the fact that Mr Goh is on MC, and there is no adult to supervise us.
