where is the rainbow?

Early in the morning of today, many many bleary eyed girls were locked out of their beloved classroom because the key was left inside and the extra key was not working ): Knowing that we would be locked out of class and be able to go to the library for lessons and have an excuse to delay lessons, we hoped and hoped that the extra key would continue not to work.

However it eventually DID. As the first extra key was THE WRONG KEY =.=

Anyway the most entertaining lesson was CHEMISTRY. I shall now proceed to describe why.

ANSWER: MICHELLE POH JIA YI.

Michelle: Im having my menses this week so next week at OBS I'll be ovulating.
Me: Er hrm. *falls silent to listen to Mrs Ong*
Michelle: And I shall be hot. You know like A and B(=.=)
Me: ERRRRRR.
Michelle: And the sun is also hot. That will add to my hotness and I will be roasted.
Michelle: *Guffaws like mad to herself*

HOW SICK CAN YOU GET?! ALL INNOCENT IMAGES OF MPOH IS PERMANENTLY DESTROYED. As if they EXISTED in the first place :p

Later, her chem ws blows away and lands smack behind her chair.

Michelle: *reaches for paper* *Arm falls short*
Michelle: Ahhh! I cant reach.

Conclusion: Mich has SHORT ARMS DUE TO HER FUN SIZED BODY.

Another realization: Mich's hands ARE SWEATY. LIKE MAJORLY.

I know because she touched me.

Me: Why are your hands so sweaty?
Michelle: I licked it before touching you

ALICIA DOES 99 WORDS PER MINUTE. TABBY FOLLOWS UP WITH 91. So my score is really nothing. But never mind I shall improve my typing skills! :DD

In ADV LIT now and not doing what we are sup[posed to be doing - an essay about pygmalion. EVERYONE is doing something else, mostly speed typing.

And Phyllis is WUZUN-DREAMING again. SIGH. And jieying and her are having outright war over aaron and wuzun -.-

And... they have made up because they both like Fahrenheit -.-

Had fire drill during bio. WTH. And I bet the teachers were all in on it. Mich and i felt terribly cheated. We were so bored sitting in the scorching sun in the basketball court of the boarding school, Charis Adalyn Yvonne named these 2 bugs Benedick and Bernard. WAHA SO FUNNY. Inside joke :D

Ate love letters after school in class while doing bio proposal while mich and dileen were SO FRANTICALLY rushing LAST WEEK'S chinese newspaper report. tut tsk

And laura believes i am insane. great.

Something somewhat traumatising happened on the bus today. Ugh must use public transport less often.

This person sat next t me. There's nothing wrong with that and i went to sleep. Moments later, something brushed against my arm. It was ticklish and annoying so i woke up. It turned out to the hair of the person next to me. Knowingly, that person's head swung away from me. I also went back to sleep. Then, it happened again. Only longer. I resisted and the head swung back. Then, it occurred once again! Was getting irritated so asked if that person wanted to change places with. At least that person got the message and stayed awake. Afterward that person changed seats to sit with a friend. I heaved a sigh of relief. And then observed for a while. That person nearly fell off the seat 3 times -.-

Was smsing Mich about this and she told me some mental old guy was behind her shouting names like Zhang Yimou, Lin Ching Hsia and the houses of Lin Feng Juan(?) and Lin Feng Jiao (????) all the way -.- Bet mich is gonna blog about this today. Oh and if you happen to know who these 2 people are, please inform me. I am quite interested but too lazy to check!

I suggest we make public transport safer.
1.Have one's own private space
2.Ban head swinging
3.Have a bodyguard with you at all times in public transport to discourage paedophiles

Public transport should SERIOUSLY be upgraded. Not technologically but psychologically.

TOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE SAID, "GIRLS, I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOUR WORK. YOU HAVE ALL BEEN EXTREMELY SHALLOW IN YOUR ANALYSIS." or along the same lines.

But really, what can be defined as 'shallow'? Not looking deeper, not knowing more or what? And what can we do to not be 'shallow' and 'look beneath the surface'? This is what teachers should be telling us in addition to "YOU ARE SHALLOW" which can totally destruct a person's confidence and should be banned.

Anyway, FUN DAY. We were allowed to bring chinese compre 3 back to do :DD

And then, there was NYSL investiture!! Which meant skipping Math, IH and Chemistry! SUPER MEGA SLACK. And there was free yoghurt too :)))

Everyone looked SO prim and proper during investiture. Fringes that were usually obscuring faces were all so neatly pinned up! xD - Kay Yun, Adalyn, NICOLETTE!, and alicia with her hairband + clip :DD

Then went to see Ms Chua about history proposal, which she gave the GO AHEAD! Yes , finally i am able to start on a stagnant project.

Training was rather fine. The only complaint was that i was forced to work too hard by MY JUNIOR. Zhiyin was zipping around all the mechanisms before i was even done with one and that was super stressful so i just lifted, pulled, tiptoed etc. faster and faster to keep up with her pace. But still we finished first and could watch everyone else and that was remarkably new xD

During advanced lit, everyone yakked and yakked for such an awfully long time! It must be the longest presentations I have ever seen, or well, heard. But it turns out everyone's topics were very interesting. Maybe regretting my topic a little now...

Just came back from family gathering and had to immediately plunge into homework :S

Anyway THE GATHERING WAS JUST SO FUN :DDDD The food was awesome!! And san yi yi bought a very new, hi-tech FANTASTIC camera that all us kids wanted to touch, to play with, to TAKE PICTURES WITH. And that's how the camwhoring began, involving people around the age of 4 to 65, due to the fact that there were many sneak unglam pictures of adults IN ACTION :DD

today, me day, was interesting

SLACK AND RATHER EVENTFUL DAY! :DDD

First was that in math, i think mrs chang forgot that we hadnt taken the quiz or something so she didnt pop the quiz ! xD

Then, in PE ms yeo didnt come! I think she wasn feeling well and anyway other people said that she has been PMSing rather frighteningly so... WE ONLY NEEDED TO RUN 5 ROUNDS AROUND THE TRACK. Thanks mich for being my support - we got throuh with stitches WAHA.

Finally, SIL. Mr Mackintosh was so informative about his history. He is the leader of the MACKINTOSH CLAN? THE MACKINTOSH OF THE MACKINTOSH? lol. And apparently he can trace his ancestry to the 1100s. How cool is that?! And his family had ties with King Charles I and do you know why the police force in HK are wearing checkered tartan pants? They wrote to Mr Mack and his father (when they were chiefs) asking if they could use the Mackintosh tartan for their police uniform.And both said YES xD MR MACK IS SO FANTASTICALLY INTERESTING HE MAKES MY HISTORY SEEM SHORT AND UNEXCITING. His grandparents lived in a castle, one with 170 rooms and 32 servants, can you believe it?

Went out with Michelle, Lihong and Laura to ORCHARD. Ate some japanese curry chicken rice wrapped in egg thing and talked abt 'the dude and the dustbin' somewhat. The dustbin was mentioned and the dudes were slammed! Oh and we drank horrible ice lemon tea and WE KNOW where the money is being channeled too -.- And this elderly caucasian couple kept looking at us. Were we talking too loud?

Went to Wheelock Place and read Ripley's Believe It or Not.A man with a 13-inch horn sticking outta his head, a super super tall man (he's taller than Yao Ming O.O), a boy who kept saying 'mother die and father gone'(in the end, his father shot his mother and the boy died soon after O.O), crazy contortionists who can turn head 360 degrees, man who has TWO PUPILS IN EACH EYE, man who can move his organs and will and suck in his digestinal tract so his backbone can be seen from the front O.O, a man with TRANSPARENT SKIN (apparently you can see his ORGANS O.O), and my fav - a man called Iccolo Miccolo, he plays the PICCOLO.

AND I HAVE SERIOUSLY CRAPPED TOO MUCH. For more info, go see Mich's blog! And Lihong is electrifying(literally) and Mich theorised that must the reason for her hair xD NO OFFENCE LIHONG! :DD

At night interesting things happened too! :)) Lihong informed me that Mark saw us walking out of Wheelock ! And she had this feeling HE WAS THERE. Haha psychic connection o.O

VDAY :DDD

It's V-DAY! WHOOHOO.

And a senior from 401 gave a speech about how V-day started. It all began with someone called St Valentine in the reign of the roman emperor Claudeus(is this how it is spelt?). Haha I'm so enlightened. Jailer's daughter? :D

Spent most of math and chinese doing V-day poker cards :S Haha but I think everyone had lots of fun picking! :))) Anyway THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR LOVELY V-DAY GIFTS!

Michelle, Cheryl, Tingshan, Steph, Lydia, Kelly, Congz, Zhiyin, Sara, Yiyuan & Chuning(haha they made jiaolian full on CHOCS), eehsien, eewei, mel kho, charis, livia... I LOVE YOU GUYS !!!

Tomorrow sch ends at 12.15 and there is no pt later mwahahahaha. Going out with Mich, Lihong, Adalyn, Laura and MYSELF. I cant wait. How perfect this day would be if there is no pe. SIGHS. Im too lazy to run round and round in circles. In my opinion running is a waste of time. You will eventually end up with you started.

Still very sleepy throughout the day and restless at night. WHAT IS GOING ON??? Urgh :S

When I got to school, Ee Wei told me that Kristiano had gotten, well, pudgy. Haha zooming back to his pri sch days?!? And turns out he talks like some bullet train during debate. Wonder how people understand. Poor debaters.

Then, Michelle was like, "Did you read my blog? There was some 40 year old guy involved..." So she opened her blog and i got super high reading it cos its well, SO ENTERTAINING. Yvonne couldnt understand how I could get so high in the early morning. MICH'S BLOG IS THE KEY. GO READ GO READ! :D And I cant believe how many people know why my shoe smells and WHY.

Had DRAGON DANCE TROUPE during recess PERFORM IN AND BLESS 314. It was so cool and people(Phyllis) brought cameras to snap photos. And also screamed and shrunk away from the lion which = 2 human people. Phyllis LOL? One of the people in the lion peeled oranges and arranged them in a 'ji' word on the ground, WHILE INSIDE THE COSTUME. So cool(again)! Luckily Dileen took a picture of it before(guess who?) stepped on it after asking so many others NOT to step on it -.-

Finally went to lunch training! I cant believe how much I miss the volleyball (albeit a bit too hard today - who pumped until so hard?)! Michelle POH you paparazzo! Wait until I get a hi-tech phone I shall snap lots and lots of unglam shots of you tooo!

Seeing dentist later. Hope my teeth haven't shifted.

It's official. I have lost 2 pairs of earrings in 2 days. How is this possible? Well, my earholes could be too big, the earrings could be too loose or im just plain CARELESS. So I am planning to go earring hunting on Tuesday. Hopefully I can find legal, nice ones :D

Fears of the virus coming back. I really think its coming back. Just now it interrupted a conversation between Jieying and me. URGH CANT TAKE THE TORTURE. STUPID DUMB VIRUS JUST GO AWAY.

Sometimes I think I have too much time to ponder over strange and confusing things.

CNY. Everything is quite sunny and cheerful on my father's side of the family. Watched S-POP HURRAY and had quite a good laugh watching li wei-shiong and li shi-shiong dancing in the 70s. There weren't many relatives though, and su gong's house was a little dusty. But all in all, I rather enjoyed myself, crazily laughing over window curtains and the absurdity of the Brothers Grimm (the movie).

Onto my mother's side. All hell breaks loose. What's new? Still remember when I was pushed out, all those years ago. I always wonder, would we even recognise each other in the street? They might most probably avoid me like the plague, and yet I do not see what we have done wrong to deserve it. Now, I'm still avoided like the plague, just by others. Even though it is the new century and people are saying, "To hell with the old traditions and whatnot", I believe there are still many who cannot shake the shadows of superstitions from their clouded minds. Of course, I'm not saying that death is a reason for joy, but this IS cny AFTER ALL. Once a year? Maybe a last? I dont know. But the point is, during a festive season, why brood over past events that might make one queasy and unhappy? If everyone lived in the past, what future is there?

Why doesnt the library open till Saturday? I have again found a lot of time to be weird.

TODAY IS SUPER DARE DAY. And it also coincides with MPP Presentation Day. Oh did I say coincide? I think its more like INTENTIONALLY MICHELLE YOU EVIL TOOT. And Dileen kept asking me to stop eating-.-

Anyway woke up at 6 to go to Orchard but still arrived the latest ): OH AND THE FREAKIEST THING HAPPENED. We wanted to go to a cyber cafe to edit our powerpoint, so I made a list 5 internet cafes in Orchard. At 7 am I started calling them one by one to check their opening hours. I had just about given up all hope for a cyber cafe to be opened so early, when I got through to Everst Web City in Far East Shopping Centre. The guy was like, "My name is ______(didnt catch) and we're open now." So, I was super happy to have found an operating cafe and all of us trooped off to Far East. When we got there. there were a few security guards and everything was still closed. But seeing as we were students they let us find the 'cyber cafe' at #02-30, the venue specified by my internet search. The place was creepy enough by itself, with its empty walkways and immobile escalators. As we went around and around the second floor we realized that THERE WAS NO #02-30 AT ALL. The numbers went as far as 29 and 36, but there was absolutely NO #02-30! That was when we got really scared. WHO ANSWERED MY CALL? Anyway to check, Lihong bravely agreed to call the number and ask where #02-30 was. After the second try, we got through, but the person on the other line told Lihong, "There was a cyber cafe by the name of Everest Web City in Far East Shopping Centre, BUT IT CLOSED A FEW YEARS AGOOOOO." omg I WANTED TO RUN AWAY AS FAST AS I COULD! I need a change of phone, gonna be scared to death otherwise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were setting up the PPT when this NUS guy peered over the the screen and he was like,"Wa, siao." Later, he came up to us and told us, "Can we have a non-aggression pact?" And he only asked our group :)) HAHA ARE WE THAT SMART? ><

Oh ya did the most embarrassing thing today. I think whenever im with Lihong and Mich i do embarrassing things -.- Dileen said she laughed until her stomach hurt -.- We shall coerce Dileen to perform a dare next time. She totally chickened out today! HAIYO.

the happenings of today

MICHELLE FOUND MY SURREPTITIOUS NOTE. Wait. Doesn't this mean that it was not surreptitious? Once again, I have failed in the art of being surreptitious.

But anyway... we distracted Ms Yeo during PE for half an hour! It really helps that she is pregnant :D ZORRO ZACHARIAH ANAKIN LUKE. She says Anakin and Zorro are nice names. Maybe her baby will be named after one of them :)) I REALLY HOPE ITS ANAKIN xD Then OMG Ee Wei, Laura, Lihong and Michelle... you have all corrupted my mind! WHAT 69?!? And pole vault is quite pointless.

After RV match (which Cheryl went around taking LOADS of blurred photos (bad photog skills!) of us while in weird postures O.O) we were treated to Cafe Cartel by jiaolian. It was SO DELICIOUS!! ESP THE BREAD AND BUTTER. IM ADDICTED :DD Yupyup plus she made me stuff down loads of pork ribs with my bare hands as all the forks were taken. Still they were nice!

Rushed back to school later. Mrs Kuan gave us pretty neutral comments seriously hope we can do our best tomorrow on such notice >< I FEEL ACCOMPLISHED. Managed to rush BIO proposal lit review and do MPP script and ppt in time for tmr! AHAHAHAHA SLEEPLESS NIGHTS!
